Virtual Reality allows us to provide users with a bridge between knowledge delivery and skills development, getting them closer to the real-life experiences, whilst maintaining their safety and support.
For the most part, virtual reality has been viewed as a stand-alone activity, providing the user with a close to real-world experience, independent to any theory or instruction; and in some cases, this is appropriate.
With Spark, we have enabled the virtual reality to be integrated into the training experience, allowing a user to 'pop out' of the theory training using their mobile phone, and a headset to experience VR worlds at the appropriate moment; and then returning to the theory training, with the system being fully aware of the experiences gained within the VR environment.
