Automated notifications, alerts and reminders can be setup and tailored to your requirements.

By default, the system has one preloaded notification which is to notify a trainee when a new training item is allocated to them but the system allows you to create any number of different notifications to match your needs.

Whether that is being able to inform staff of an imminent due date or sending them a congratulative note when they complete a module, the system can accommodate this.

We've even made it possible to send notifications to trainees via SMS. Not only have we made it easy for you to choose the means of communication and when they are sent but we make it possible for you to control what the notifications say.


Notifications are customisable and can be in email or SMS (or one being a fall-back option for the other). You can tailor the content and use tokens to place system generated elements into the appropriate part of your message, such as the module link or trainee name. 

Reports can also attach certificates if you wish to send those to users automatically.


Each notification has a number of parameters that define when they are sent and can include the type of training item, its status and time related aspects, such as due date, expiry date or date of issue. You can even control which parts of the organisational structure the notification applies to, allowing you to set up specific messages for individual departments, regions or brands.

e.g. Send congratulations SMS's saying, "Well done [NAME] on completing [Module Name] - From John.'" immediately when module is set to complete for Region 1.


Notifications can also be used to keep members of the management team informed.  For example, a notification can be sent when an individual has failed a module or failed to complete the assigned module/s within the require time. Management reports can also be sent on regular intervals, such as on specific days of the week or month.

Manager notifications can attach the information relating to the notification to the email as a csv file, allowing for external reporting or updating of external systems. (Furthermore, see API as alternative method for this).
