Most training requires two aspects; the knowledge transfer and then skills acquisition. Theory training is most important when the skills training is within a potentially dangerous environment (e.g. operative machinery, oil & gas etc.).
We provide theory training in a safe environment whereby the learner can do the training at their own pace, allowing them to obtain the required knowledge before moving on to the required skills training.
Virtual Reality can bridge the gap between knowledge transfer and skills acquisition, by providing an immersive learning environment. Potentially hazardous tasks can be practised over and over in the virtual environment, allowing the trainee to safely learn from mistakes. Dealing with hazardous substances, working at height and operating heavy machinery are only a few examples of activities that can be performed and mastered with virtual reality, before performing them in real life.
