Sexual harassment is a reality and often occurs in the workplace, as notorious recent events have reaffirmed. Reports show that half of women in UK have been sexually harassed at work.

Sexual harassment can happen in every workplace, therefore it is essential that every employee in the workplace is able to identify and react to sexual harassment. Sex offenders face professional, personal and legal consequences> they immediately and automatically lose their job, they are listed in the sex offenders registry, they are charged and they might not be able to be hired again. Sexual offence is a serious crime as much as it is common and employes must strive to keep the workplace a safe environment. Our Sexual Harassment eLearning Module provides the understanding of Sexual Harassment and its effects on the perpetrator and the victim that every employee needs.

Sexual Harassment is so defined by The Equality Act of 2010: “unwanted conduct of a sexual nature which has the purpose or effect of violating someone’s dignity, or creating an intimidating, hostile, degrading, humiliating or offensive environment for them”. However, sexual harassment is often portrayed as ambiguous on the grounds that it is not always easy to tell the difference between a silly joke and a humiliating remark.

For these reasons, the Bolt Learning team created an eLearning Module focused on Sexual Harassment in the workplace. It is designed to provide every employee with an essential knowledge of sexual harassment and how it can occur in the workplace. The Sexual Harassment eLearning Module enables users to identify situations of sexual harassment and the conducts which may constitute harassment. The course also provides an understanding of the consequences of sexual harassment in the workplace as well as strategies to prevent it from occurring. In this hard-hitting module, you'll experience interactive videos that explore sexual harassment and its consequences for both the perpetrator and the victim.

It is a fully online, interactive course and assessment, accessible on any device, 24/7, with no time limits.  A certificate can be downloaded upon successful completion of the eLearning module.
