The fresh food market in the convenience sector was worth £63 billion in 2016. 25% of sales in convenience stores come from chilled food. Selling fresh food is a good opportunity to boost sales - but also brings risks in terms of how to maintain the freshness of your products, how to display them and how to dispose of them.
