Safety on the Forecourt
In partnership with Suresite
As more and more petrol stations now have convenience stores offering food and drinks, it can be challenging for the forecourt staff to ensure safety on the forecourt. Your employees must receive proper training to be able to supervise such busy and distracting environments.
Forecourt staff are required to recognise hazards and employ safety precautions implemented on petrol forecourts to protect operators and customers from risks. When required to dispense thousands of litres of highly flammable and environmentally polluting fuels, the staff need to have the knowledge which is very diverse: good health and safety practices, properties of fuels, how to use fire extinguishers, and much more.
In partnership with Suresite, Bolt has developed Safety on the Forecourt eLearning Course to give operators a means of acquiring all the competencies needed for the supervision of the forecourt. The training course is developed to help the staff and the supervisors gain awareness of the risks that they, members of the public, and contractors can face. It will also help them build competence and confidence by understanding the correct emergency procedures required to ensure a safe environment.
The Safety on the Forecourt is a two-hour course with a series of modules that can be covered over a period of time. Available at suresite.boltspark.com
Fully online and interactive, available 24/7 on any device, with no time limits, thanks to our state-of-the-art LMS, with an assessment at the end of the module. A certificate can be downloaded upon the successful completion of the course.
