James Retail latest to embrace digital learning


Bolt is delighted to announce that The James Retail Group is the latest high profile convenience retail organisation to join Bolt as a client. 

James Retail was formed in 2015 following the acquisition of the GT Retail business by Conviviality Plc. The chain has 600 store colleagues working across almost 80 stores, operating under the Select Convenience, GT News & Supernews fascias. Jonathan James acquired the GT Retail stores from Conviviality through a 10 year franchise agreement to operate convenience stores and newsagents.



The agreement, between James Retail and Bolt, will see all 600+ James Retail staff receive comprehensive digital training in over 12 core areas to help ensure all stores operate to their highest possible standards in terms of compliance and customer service. Bolt have already started identifying how our digital platform can assist JCR in a wide range of other areas.
