When Kate was in high school and was asked what she wanted to be when she was older, she was certain in her answer, “I want to be a personal assistant, so I can help others be more efficient with what they need to do”. Kate went on to win a bursary for her typing skills and studied Advanced Secretarial and Computers at the Damelin School of Technology. 15 years later and Kate has supported Partners and Owners of Corporate companies in the UK as well as a large Non-Profit organisation in South Africa. Her passion is to work in an environment where the vision is big and the team are enthusiastic.
Kate works between the Production, Support and Sales team to refine processes, assist with communication and increase productivity.
What is life outside of work?
Kate is married with two daughters. She enjoys spending most of her spare time with her husband and girls, visiting new places in and around Glasgow, enjoying ‘family time’. Kate is passionate about Christian Leadership Development, and attends conferences and teaching seminars when she is able. Kate and her family spend Sunday’s at church, meeting new friends and eating great food – usually Sunday roast!
Kate and her husband have a heart for the disadvantaged and unskilled. With Kate’s support, her husband has started a Social Enterprise (Community Interest Company), in order to assist those in our local communities, to upskill, support and create opportunities for them where they are able feel their value. Kate is currently becoming a certified Life Coach and in her spare time, will work with youth and young adults, to re-invision them on their value and potential.
